Hallett Race Shop
Hallett Race Shop and co-owner/manager Scott Stephens has decades of experience and passion to oversee the construction, maintenance, and operation of any type of racing vehicle. Scott has been involved with his father, mother, and brother in racing since 1988. He and his family have successfully campaigned a variety of cars from Open-Wheeled Spec cars to exotic European Sports Cars and American V-8 powered race cars.
Hallett Race Shop customers bring their cars for expert set-up, major and minor repairs, and custom fabrication. Minor modifications to turn-key race cars and everything between can be provided in our 8000 square foot shop located on track premises.
Some choose to leave their cars at the shop and arrive just in time to practice and race. Our expert teams provide trackside service here at Hallett and also travel across the country to support our racers wherever they choose to race. Our trackside service includes anything a driver and car may need while at the track. Whether it be fueling the car, changing tires, radio communication, data acquisition or just a bottle of water at the conclusion of a session. Our teams anticipate any and all needs.
Hallett Race Shop maintains an inventory of the most commonly used parts and fluids. In the event that we do not have what you need we have great relationships with local businesses that deliver parts to the track in less than an hour. Hallett Race Shop has a vast network of suppliers for parts, tires and safety equipment. We ship and receive daily via USPS, UPS, FedEx and freight companies from around the country.
Hallett Race Shop distributes Hoosier and Goodyear tires. We also supply Michelin tires to the Porsche race cars so prolific in road racing. Our full service tire shop can mount, balance or repair tires whether you buy them from us or supply them yourself. Let us know a week in advance if you have any special tire orders.
Scott has a huge network of racing friends and acquaintances dating back to the Golden Age of Road Racing. If you are interested in buying or selling a car or parts, your first call should be to the Hallett Race Shop. There is a high probability Scott or one of the crew knows whom to contact to find the buyer or seller you seek.
