Hallett Motor Racing Circuit (HMRC) is proud to honor and celebrate our nation’s heroes with a special event – HMRC Veterans Celebration Day, happening Saturday, November 16, 2026, from 9 AM – 4 PM!

This day is dedicated to thanking, inspiring, and supporting our veterans through an unforgettable experience at the track. Veterans will enjoy FREE high-speed rides in sports cars, a lively car show, parade laps, and a variety of family friendly activities. Join us for a full day of excitement, community, and gratitude.

  • Veterans & Active Duty Military: Free admission with proof of service
  • Guests & Supporters: $10 per person

Event Highlights

To offer something that will interest every attendee, the HMRC Veterans Celebration Day will feature:

  • Free high speed ride-alongs for veterans (with valid proof of service)
  • Car show with specific classes & awards
  • Delicious food at HMRC’s own restaurant: the Finish Line Café
  • Parade laps open to all
  • Raffles & giveaways from veteran supporting-businesses
  • Vendor booths showcasing the veteran community

Veteran Ride Alongs

Strap in for the thrill of a lifetime! Veterans are invited to ride passenger in a high-performance sports car for a spirited session around Hallett’s road course. It’s the perfect way to experience the speed, sound, and adrenaline of sports cars where they truly belong – on the track.
Spots are limited – pre-registration is highly recommended. (Registration link coming soon.)

Requirements for “Ride Along” Passengers:

  • Proof of veteran status at registration check-in (click registration link above for list of acceptable IDs)
  • SA2020 or newer helmet (loaners available at HMRC)
  • Long sleeve cotton shirt
  • Long pants
  • Closed-toe shoes
  • Enthusiasm for motorsports & high performance automobiles

HMRC Veterans Celebration Car Show

Not everyone will be able to, or wants to, go on track, and that’s why we’re hosting the Veterans Celebration Car Show! From classics to modern builds, trucks to motorcycles, all are welcome. Awards will be given across multiple classes, with trophies presented at the Winner’s Circle podium at 1:15 PM.

Registration:

  • Early Bird: $5/vehicle (pre-register by November 15, 2026)
  • Day-of Registration: $10/vehicle (9-10 AM at Raceport 5-6 across from Tower)
  • Note: Gate admission is separate – $10/person for guests, FREE for veterans & active duty with ID
  • CAR SHOW REGISTRATION COMING SOON!

Schedule:

  • 9:00 – 10:00 AM – Check-in & Day of Registration
  • 11:00 AM – Voting ends
  • 1:15 PM – Awards Ceremony at Winner’s Circle podium

Event Details:

  • Registered vehicles will receive a numbered ID to display on the dashboard (cars/trucks) or gas tank (motorcycles)
  • Car show parking in designated areas around the track with HMRC attendant assisting parking
  • Truck & trailer parking available in the paddock near Turn 4 and Turn 8 crossover.
