About VIP Club

Ever wished for more space and seat time at Hallett? VIP Club Days give you just that – a small, private track experience with limited cars on course, maximized sessions, and prime weekday/weekend dates. Focus on improving your driving skills and fine tuning your car without heavy traffic. To participate, drivers must join the Hallett VIP Club ($50 annual membership).

What’s Included

HMRC offers semi-private high performance driving program called “VIP Club Days.” Designed for drivers looking for a relaxed, private, and more personal experience while tracking their street car or testing a race car, each VIP Club Days event includes the following items for $399/day: 

  • Premium weekday date or weekend date!
  • Six 20-minute track sessions with only 5 cars on track per session (i.e. minimal traffic)
  • VIP CLUB DAYS ON WEEKENDS & HOLIDAYS (+) will allow up to 10 car groups.  Same format, schedule, and HMRC driving coaches still available on these days!
  • Covered raceport parking. First come, first served. (30/50amp hookup extra fee)
  • Transponder for lap time tracking and analysis.
  • Rental helmet for driver, if needed. (Rental helmet for passengers $25 ea)
  • Professional photography – FREE hi-res downloads.
  • Self-serve coffee bar with continental breakfast treats.
  • Hallett VIP Club sticker on your first 2026 VIP Club track day.
  • Catered lunch served in the Finish Line Cafe. (Addl lunches for guests $20/pp) — NO LUNCH BREAK FOR 2026 FOR MORE EFFICIENT USE OF YOUR TIME!

Typical VIP Club Days Event Schedule

  • 7:00AM: Gates open
  • 8:00AM: Driver’s mandatory safety meeting
  • 8:30AM – 5:00PM: Track sessions open
  • Catered lunch served typically after 3rd session
  • Event will run rain or shine, schedule will adjust if needed for best track conditions

FIRST TIME DRIVERS @ HALLETT MUST REGISTER FOR THE DRIVER’S EDUCATION GROUP (HPDE)

HMRC offers personal driving instruction by our experienced High Speed Touring (HST) instructors for an additional $125/driver which is REQUIRED for all 1st Timers to our challenging racetrack. For each VIP Club event, one group of street cars will include a driving instructor for the day that helps in developing driving techniques with corner-by-corner teaching and driving tips that could shave tenths or even seconds off of lap times and ensure each new driver is comfortable on track.  Note: your vehicle must have passenger protection for instructor equal to driver protection for IN-CAR instruction.

Additional Details

We will maintain a limit of 5 cars on the track at all times. HST rules apply for all VIP Club Days groups, including race cars, with passing only on straights marked between blue cones. Convertibles are highly recommended to have roll bar protection for standard driver/passenger safety protection.  Race cars and street cars will be in separate groups on track. Must be 18 yrs of age to drive a street car on VIP Club Days.

If the event receives less than 10 total participants (or 15 participants for VIP weekend days), HMRC will offer registered drivers the opportunity to cover the difference to still have their track event. Otherwise, 100% will be automatically credited to your HMRC account for future use or you can request refund at email address below.

NOTE: HALLETT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED, NO first timers to HMRC on VIP EXPRESS events unless you hire a pre-approved driving instructor OR have an active racing license.

Registration Cancellation Policy:

  • Please email requests in writing to hallettracing2@cimtel.net
  • Cancellation requests received at least 2 weeks prior to event, will receive 90% account credit or refund.
  • Cancellation requests received less than 2 weeks but greater than 1 week prior to event, will receive 75% account credit or refund.
  • Cancellation requests received less than week prior to event, will receive 50% account credit or refund.
  • No credit or refund for no-show or after you go on track.
  • HMRC Account Credits will expire at the end of the year following the credit.  (for example, a credit issued on 4/1/2024 will expire 12/31/2025.)
  • Event will run Rain or Shine!
