Hallett Motor Racing Circuit (HMRC) recognizes the need to thank, inspire, and support our veterans. To fulfill those ends, HMRC is devoting a specific day to honor them: the HMRC Veterans Celebration Day! Scheduled for November 12th, 2022, and lasting from 9AM to 4PM, the HMRC Veterans Celebration Day will feature free high speed rides around the track in sports cars for veterans, a car show with all types of cars and trucks, parade laps, and other fun and family friendly activities. All veterans, active duty military personnel, and guests wishing to support veterans are invited: veterans attend for free (with proof of service) and guests can attend for a nominal $10 per person admission fee.
To offer something that will interest every attendee, the HMRC Veterans Celebration Day will feature:
- Free high speed ride-alongs for veterans
- Car show with specific classes and awards
- Delicious food at HMRC’s own restaurant: the Finish Line Café
- Parade laps for all
- Raffled products from the veteran supporting community
- Vendor booths supporting the veteran community
Veteran Ride Alongs
Veterans and active duty personnel register HERE for your FREE high speed ride along.
Veterans will be given the opportunity to ride in the passenger seat of a high performance sports car for a spirited drive around the track for a session. This is a tremendous chance for a veteran to experience first hand the thrill and excitement of sports cars in their intended environment. Availability will be limited, pre-registration highly recommended, and can be completed by clicking the link above. Ride Along” passengers will need:
- Proof of veteranship @ registration check-in (click registration link above for list of acceptable identifications)
- SA2015 or newer helmet (HMRC will provide a loaner for the ride if needed)
- Long sleeve cotton shirt
- Long pants
- Closed toe shoes
- An abiding enthusiasm for motorsports and appreciation for high performance automobiles

HMRC Veterans Celebration Car Show
Not everyone will be able to, or wants to, go on track, so HMRC will be organizing our very own car show during the event again! The HMRC Veterans Celebration Car Show will be giving awards and will be segmented into various classes.

- HMRC Veterans Car Show Awards will be presented at 1:15PM at the Winner’s Circle podium
- Car Show EARLY BIRD entry discount price of $5/vehicle. Pre-registration ends on November 10th, 2022 then car show entry is $10/vehicle
- NOTE: Gate admission fees are separate for EACH PERSON attending the event. $10/person adult admission or FREE for veteran’s with identification
- Registered participants will be given numbered identification that they should place on their vehicle’s dashboard (car or truck) or gas tank (motorcycle)
- Car show parking will be in designated spots around the track and an HMRC attendant will help participants park their show car. Truck and trailer parking will be by the Turn 4 and Turn 8 crossover
- No camping available for this event
